Did you ever think pperhaps that part of the problem may not be a lack of faith in God, or too much comfort in “the world”? Perhaps the main faith struggle is more with seeing who identifies as a Christian.

Today after church I went to my friend Selena’s second baby shower. The first one was…interesting.

This one was being thrown by her church, and at first I was not sure that I was going to go. But when I got out of church today I just felt like it would be the nice thing to do. So I went.

And I’m really glad I did. It wasn’t the most fun thing I’ve ever been to but it definitely was not the worst.

It was nice, I got to spend time with Selena, and it also felt great to be there for her. I think I was the only person under 50 so I think she appreciated the company.

I’ve been on a One Tree Hill kick lately. I just started watching two years ago, and now I am going back to the beginning. I finished Season 1 and I am halfway through Season 2. I really love seeing where these characters came from.

On to mowing the lawn (boo) and then Nightchurch.
